Hamper Presentation & Packaging

A gift hamper is suppose to create an impression, it really gives you the feeling that you are special, the someone has made an effort to not only send you a gift but has gone that extra mile to give you a gift that looks amazing. We understand hampers and the feelings they evoke and that is why packaging is very important to us.

We use cellophane to package most of our hampers (cellophane is bio-degrable and can be added to the compost heap) as well as tissue paper. The hampers are then gently tied together using modern ribbon (not ugly kitschy ribbon) - we use thick woven edge organza ribbon and then poly ribbon as a base. A hand-made personalised tag is then attached to each gift hamper.

  

Fragile and breakable items are packed with bubble wrap so they do not break in-transit. Once completed the gift hamper is then packed in an outer protective box (so it always arrives in one piece) - this also gives us space to add the final touches of the Waybill and Warning Stickers (Fragile, This Way Up and Keep Cool) and an outer ribbon so your gift hamper arrives looking that extra special!



It does cost a bit more to package gift baskets with extra protective packaging but it really keeps the gifts looking exactly as they did when they were packed. You can always rest assured that your hamper is packed with extra love and care, not just thrown together.
